For several years now, “early morning breaks” has been a synonym for laid-back chillout grooves and loungy Deep-House Tracks on planet more music radio. And now it’s time for the first double CD – presenting two different means to the same end: the tasteful seduction of the listener.
Divided up into a soft mixed “Chill Session” and a “Deep (House) Session”, early morning breaks provides the perfect sound not only for an early morning. Beyond the typical sunset and sunrise “lounge clich’s”, what remains is an impressive line-up of more than 30 interesting acts.
“Stylewise”, the 35 tracks cover a lot of ground, from the very hip electro-tinged grooves of Kuriaki & Xiomara, Pupkulies & Rebecca to the darker moods of Hyusfall and the almost legendary artists Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland aka The Crystal Method. Especially the latter can hardly be considered a
“Lounge”-Act.
